MARIA DUPONT It is with great sadness that the family of Maria Dupont announces her passing on Sunday, May 25, 2008 at the Pine Falls Health Complex, after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer. Maria leaves to mourn her husband Ernest after 61 years of marriage. She is survived and remembered by her four sons, Gerald (Donna), Henri (Lynne), Richard and Marc; and her daughter Monique. She has 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She will also be missed by her three sisters Eugenie, Gabrielle and Antoinette and her brother Victor. Born in Pine Falls on December 2, 1929, Maria was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a kind, considerate and loving person who spent her whole life organizing and participating in church and community activities. She will be greatly missed, always cherished and forever remembered in our hearts. The funeral service will be held at the St. Georges Roman Catholic Church, St. Georges, MB on Wednesday, May 28 with prayers at 1:30 p.m. followed by mass at 2:00 p.m. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, nurses-aides, paramedics and all the staff at the Pine Falls Hospital for their compassionate care and support.
